Refund policy

At BIT Clothing Co, we want you to love your purchase! This Returns & Refund Policy outlines when returns, refunds, or exchanges may be available.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By making a purchase through BIT Clothing Co, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy as well as our full Terms of Service.

1. Change of Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 10 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition as it was received
  • The item must be free from stains, odours, pet hair, and damage
  • The return must be requested within 10 days of confirmed delivery

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

     > Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

BIT Clothing Co reserves the right to refuse a return if the item is returned worn, damaged, altered, or outside of the return window.

 

2. Vintage Items

Vintage items sold by BIT Clothing Co are genuine vintage garments.

Due to their age, minor signs of wear such as small marks, fading, fabric softening, or slight imperfections may be present. 

However, we carefully inspect and disclose any noticeable flaws in product descriptions and images.

Minor wear consistent with the age of a vintage garment does not constitute a fault and does not qualify for a refund under change-of-mind claims.

 

3. New pieces 

Our new pieces are brand-new garments and accessories. 

If a new item arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Change-of-mind returns for new items follow the same 10-day return policy outlined above.

 

4. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from its description, please contact us as soon as possible.

You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

To request a return for a faulty item:

  • Include your order number
  • Provide clear photographs of the issue

     We will respond within 3 business days with further instructions.

 

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
